Not a travel day again. Drove to Prehistoric Trackways National Monument and walked uphill and down for 3 1/2 hours half the time lost the trail but found it again thanks to S's trusty gps skills. Views of Las Cruces and mountains to the north. Park by the Rio Grande for lunch, water high brown and foamy. Clear and mild weather now. Dropped S at adobe and went for more pico and some ice cream for coke float. Also drove and strove mightily for a can of show polish for scuffed street/trail slip-ons. Wish I had a before and after photo of that shoe care drama; sorry.
